MUSIC TRAINING
I studied at Maria Grey Foundation Music Course for 2 years and at The Royal Academy of Music for 3 years.

PIANO

I started learning the piano when I was about 10 with my dad – Kenneth W Day.

I studied with Andrew Bohmann in about 1979.
I studied with David Carhart from 1980 to 1982.

I studied with Lois Phillips from 1982 to 1984.
I studied with Margaret McDonald from 1984 to 1985.
I studied piano teaching with Ruth Harte.

I have worked with Kenneth Day, Douglas Hewitt, Diane Day, Arthur Coomber, Lara Hewitt for concerts.

I taught piano at home from 1986 and subsequently at Woldingham Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school for 12 ½ years.

I now have a local practice teaching at home in Edenbridge and also in Oxted and surrounding areas.

BASSOON

I started bassoon in the 6th form.
I studied for 2 years with Eric Hollis.
I studied for 2 years with Ron Waller.
And with Melbon Mackie for 1 year.

I taught bassoon at Woldingham Convent of the Sacred heart girls school for 12 ½ years.
I taught mini-bassoon at Hazelwood School, Oxted for 2 years.
